58th TAAI CONVENTION TO BE HELD IN DUBAI.

The Indian Travel Congress & Exhibition 2009, TAAI’s much - awaited annual convention is all set to be held in Dubai this year. Mr Kumar along with the President Mr Rajji Rai and HonTreasurer, Mr Iqbal Mulla made visits to Dubai on the invitation of DTCM (Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing ) who were keen to support the TAAI Convention, if held in Dubai. The visits also included inspection of Hotels & other facilities to stage the Convention and Exhibition. Mr Rajinder Rai, addressing the DTCM officials, said that TAAI Convention coming to Dubai will mean a big boost to the industry in Dubai. He reiterated that wherever TAAI had been to, that area came into enhanced prominence.

"DTCM’s assurances to go all out and support TAAI to have a great event at Dubai” inspired this decision, says Mr Sunil Kumar, Chairman of Convention Committee. He added that under the leadership of Mr Iqbal Mulla, a large exhibition that will immensely benefit our delegates to interact with the DMCs of the area is also being presented along with the Convention. Taking into account the festivals of Ramzan and Dusherra the dates have been fixed for 29th September to 1st October.
